Hello everyone!

With the first hint of colour on the leaves comes a big, big hint of fall fun in Vankleek Hill!
Coming up this weekend is the Vankleek Hill Food Festival, taking place on Sunday, September 15 all along our town's Main Street. Visit 72 specialty food vendors and savour the flavours of local and ethnic foods from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m! Take your goodies home or join everyone at the 320-foot-long lunch table which is located right on Main Street, closed to traffic during the festival! Visit the events page on www.vankleekhill.ca to find out more! You will see Cheri Barton and her team from the fundraising "Walk for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease)" event uptown on Sunday!

Just down the hill . . . visit Scherer Landscaping, home of Santa`s Village, to celebrate Andy Scherer's 20th anniversary and the opening of his new showroom. Andy rocks (if you know what we mean!) Visit: 1535 Dalkeith Road, just a few minutes outside of town. Visit September 14 or 15 during the day.

Next weekend on September 22, the Paul Emile Seguin Memorial Car Show takes place at the southern edge of town, at Sylmar Autos! Watch for vintage cars and a BBQ, all raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

While you are in town, visit the Higginson Tower, which is open weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thanksgiving Weekend.
