Gingerbread Capital of Ontario

Hello everyone!

Spring is here, so let's catch up on what is happening in Vankleek Hill!
Here in town, we can sense the bustle this week as the set-up for this weekend's Champlain Commercial Fair takes place at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre!
The two-day commercial fair takes place this weekend at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre! Saturday, from 8 a.m. til 5 p.m and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, AND NOTE there is FREE ADMISSION both days!
Be sure to fill out a coupon to win some great door prizes! You do not have to be present to win.
If you are in town Saturday, be sure to shop on Main Street or enjoy lunch in one of our restaurants: McRae's Place, Nicko's Resto Bar, Corner Pizza, Trillium Tea Room or Vert Fourchette! A lot of food choices for a small town!
Also on April 14, it is Artefact Day at the Vankleek Hill Museum, so be sure to bring in your finds and share with the museum volunteers. Maybe you would like to share your historical items with everyone by donating them to the museum! Stop by 95 Main Street East between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14!
The museum also serves as the tourist info centre and the Vankleek Hill Business and Merchant Association, which manages the tourist info centre, will be hiring students shortly to get everything up and running for the tourist season!
If you have items you would like to see included in this newsletter, email them to me (Louise Sproule) at The Review or at [email protected]
The Review is pleased to manage this website and we welcome suggestions to making it the most inviting online welcome and info centre in Ontario!
I look forward to seeing everyone at the Champlain Commercial Fair! Come visit The Review booth and you could win a fantastic GRAND GARDENING PRIZE!
