Summer is one of the busiest times in Vankleek Hill and this summer is no exception!
You won't want to miss Vankleek Hill's NEWEST EVENT -- Porchfest, which takes place this Saturday, July 18 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy this free-admission event, which features entertainers, storytellers and more on Vankleek Hill's Victorian porches! Join the after-party barbecue and jam session at the Windsor Tavern at 5 p.m. Pick up a map/schedule when you come to town, or view the list here.
While you are in town, visit the tourist info centre and Vankleek Hill Museum at 95 Main Street East! The tourist info centre AND the Higginson Tower are open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stop in at the Vankleek Hill Farmers' Market, open every Saturday in the Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute parking lot, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Always plan to enjoy a meal while you are in town! Visit Vert Fourchette, Sam's Kitchen, the Trillium Tea Room, Nicko's Resto Bar, the Granary Beizli, Herb's Travel Plaza or visit the patio at Beau's (open Saturday and Sunday) and enjoy a taste-tour!
Nearby, visit Vankleek Hill Vineyard or Garden Path Homemade Soap Company.
Oh . . . and one more thing: Visit Ouimet Farms Adventure and bring the whole family to have some play time together! There is food on-site here, too. (Note: the Corn Maze will be opening soon!)
There is lots more to see and do in Vankleek Hill, so be sure to visit www.vankleekhill.ca to see the complete line-up of summer events!
See you on Main Street!
