**PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REMOVE YOUR SHOES
BEFORE TOURING INSIDE A HOME.

Everyone taking the Vankleek Hill Christmas Home Tour will receive a red or green plastic bag to take along with them (or bring your own re-usable cloth bag) as visitors have to remove their shoes to visit inside homes.
Please note that at the end of the tour, you can leave your plastic bag at any of the homes or return it to The Review offices because they will be cut into strips and made into sleep mats for homeless people in nearby Montreal.
Local resident Sandra Bennett cuts the bags into strips and crochets them into mats which are waterproof and provide good insulation against the damp sidewalks.

This event is organized by The Review, with support from generous community volunteers. The following groups have been selected as recipients of funds from the 2019 event!

• The Vankleek Hill and District Historical Society
• L’Orignal Old Jail Team
• Vankleek Hill Meals on Wheels
• Dalkeith Historical Society
• The Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society
• Vankleek Hill Fiddle and Dance Association
• The Vankleek Hill Curling Club (celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020)
